About Regent
Regent
Commerce Network (Regent) - a US based corporation - believes in
the principles of free trade, open markets and private enterprise
and is active in encouraging commercial exchanges between enterprises
in North America and the Greater China.
In
China, Regent works with provincial and city level of economic entities
and individuals who can facilitate foreign trade, creating a network
of Guanxi or connections. In North America, Regent works
with chambers of commerce at all levels and industry and trade associations
in sponsoring China Economic Opportunity (CEO) Trade Missions. Through
these efforts, Regent matchmake businesses and trade across the
Pacific, achieving the maximum market efficiency for all entities
involved.
When
Apex was a no name company amid tens of thousands business startups
in California back in 1997, it was searching for ways to stand out
in the crowd. Regent came into the scene at this point, matchmaking
it with Jiangkui Electronics, an OEM in Zhenjiang, China. The rest
is history: Apex Digital Inc. today has more than 12% of the entire
U.S. DVD player market. You can find its DVD players in literally
every electronics outlet, including Circuit City, Walmart, Kmart,
American Online.
When
a Fortune 100 company was urgently sourcing for a pharmaceutical
intermediate product, one of its suppliers came to Regent for help.
Hence was the beginning of the last 5 years' consistent and stable
supply of the product at a quality level that meets and surpasses
the requirements of the purchasing company.
Regent
was featured at World Trade magazine in the U.S. and was
also featured at People's Daily the largest newspaper in
China for its role as the matchmaker for companies across from the
Pacific. Regent also has representative offices in Australia, serving
the needs of Australian companies.
